This is the story of Chrisi Darrington's emergency trip to Marin County.
Timing is everything. And in this case, the timing was perfect!

A few weeks ago I made the decision to travel to Marin County to introduce Kangen water to my family and friends who lived there. At this time my machine was not currently at my house, I had loaned it out to a friend, Angie, who lives in Weaverville. I told Angie she could borrow it for a month. After that my plan was to bring it to Marin.

Angie took the Kangen water machine to Weaverville May 9th, and upon returning from a weekend away, she set it up, May 12. The following Monday May 19th, I found out that Emily was deathly sick with a kidney condition called, Nephrotic syndrome. Things were getting pretty serious and her family was extremely distraught.

in fact, Tori, Paul and Emily were talking about what would happen to Jensen, her 4 year old boy, if she was not able to survive this kidney condition or the biopsy. You can imagine just how serious things were for this family at this time.

Emily's symptoms: Very little urination, bubbles in her pee (indication of protein loss in her urine, a very bad thing) fluid retention, gaining about 3 lbs of weight daily, and upon waking in the mornings, her throat was swollen to the point where it's hard for her to talk or swallow.

Of course the very first thing I thought of was taking my machine down to Emily so she could start drinking Kangen water. At this same time I learned that Angie was receiving such great feedback from her friends and family trying Kangen water that she decided to buy one.

I called Emily's mom Monday early afternoon. I have to tell you that when I first began to talk to Tori, she really was quite overwhelmed and could not really understand how anything I was telling her about the water could possible help her daughter, who was in such a chronic state.

My friend Renee put it to me this way, "Chrisi, you realize it sounds like you have some sort of miracle water". Renee knows me very well. This is not the type of thing she would even imagine coming from me. I'm a very conservative and logical type gal. However, as much as Kangen water truly sounds like a health solution from a science fiction novel, it is a reality, and for those who will take the time to at least "try" it. They will find their way to better health as I and so many others have.

Anyway, back to Tori...

Fortunately, Tori is a very firm believer in alternative medicine so after she spoke to our naturopathic doctor friend, Vince, she gained more confidence in trying the water. It's not that Tori doesn't trust me, it's really more about overcoming the "mind block" that Kangen water is real and can and does help chronic unrelenting conditions.

Marin County is 3.5 hours from Redding. Within an hour after talking to me and Vince on the phone, Tori talked her husband into driving up to Redding to get some water for Emily. He came into the house, filled up three, five gallon containers with Kangen 8.5 alkaline/antioxidant water and was on his way back home in less than 15 minutes.

Before I go on to share the rest of this story, let me tell you there was some serious pressure on our Kangen water to make a difference. Not only was Emily gaining 3 lbs of fluid everyday, she was scheduled to have a biopsy Wed. May 28th. The doctor said the biopsy could kill her and there was a chance that it would not reveal what she actually had.

Don't you just love the medical profession? Not only will this biopsy possible kill her, it may not reveal what exactly is causing her kidneys to malfunction.

Anyway, you can understand the pressure I was beginning to feel having the hopes of this family resting on Kangen water. Although we have had only positive results so far, the reality is that there are bound to be circumstances where Kangen water may not offer the solution or even perhaps simply not offer the relief in time.

What I told both Tori and Emily was that we would need to take it one step at a time and hope that there was enough time for Kangen water to make a difference.

Emily drank her first glass of Kangen water May 19th, Monday night. The following day I called both in the am and pm. By Tuesday evening Emily said she thought she saw less bubbles in her urine and that she had released more urine than she had in a long time.

Two good signs, but I was thinking it could be Emily wanting to see positive results. After all, it was less than 24 hours, it's hard to believe it could be working so fast and on such a chronic condition.

The antioxidants only last for about 3 days. They are the strongest within the first 8 hours. I was waiting for Angie to bring my machine back to Redding so that I could take it to Tori's house so that Emily could get the fullest benefits.

I called Emily Wed. and she reported that she had not gained any weight since Monday and she had been peeing a lot more. More good signs of recovery - we hoped. Her throat was still swollen in the morning and she said her pee had less bubbles now and then when she pee'd.

Thursday afternoon at about 1:00 Angie called, her machine had arrived and she was bringing it to Redding within a few hours. I called Tori and the next thing I know I'm packing my bags for a trip to Marin County. I arrived in Marin about 9:30 pm I think. We set up my Kangen machine and Emily sipped on a fresh glass of 8.5 alkaline/antioxidant water that night before going to bed. 

Emily told me that she had lost 2 lbs as well.

Friday morning Emily woke up with a roaring headache. She was feeling sick all over and throwing up a bit. By the afternoon she was no longer throwing up, and she noticed that she had no bubbles in her pee. She had also lost another 5 lbs!

Throughout the day Emily reported no bubbles in her urine. Things were really looking good. Emily came out from her bath and looked at me and said, "I think you saved me".

Well, as truly wonderful as it is for anyone to ever hear those words, I had to say, "It's not me, it's the water". But of course, I appreciate that Emily's hope has soared at this point.

This morning, Saturday, Emily woke and was very excited to report she had pee'd three times that night. In addition, no bubbles in her pee and her throat was much less swollen. Her feet were feeling better too. Emily is all smiles today as she is seeing a brighter future.

In fact, I can overhear Emily on the phone in her room laughing out loud. Her energy is much better as is her disposition.

Today is May 29th and I'm about ready to head home. I'll update you in more details later. But for now, Emily decided not to have the biopsy. She's lost all of the water weight, she feels great, no more frothy urine since Friday and her family is thrilled. In just 9 days drinking Kangen water changed Emily's health condition so dramatically Emily drove herself to San Francisco and spent a few days with her boyfriend and his family. She felt good enough to shop and make dinner for them as well.

I spoke to Tori a few days ago and she said Emily is doing very well. I'm leaving my machine at Tori's house until the 22'cd of this month, June.

In my experience, the changes that Kangen water can make are so dramatic that people tend to minimize the results. As far as I'm concerned this was one amazing recovery from a very serious Kidney condition. Some people want to say that it was timing, or that "sometimes" the body just has an amazing turn around.

Let's consider these "turn arounds".
